Bio
I was schooled at Berklee College of Music in Boston and immediately
began performing in local pop bands and teaching when I came back home to Harrisburg. In my early 20's I spent almost 2 years performing in traveling show bands in locations such as Montreal and Atlantic City. From that period til now I have been performing in various local bands, most currently with my wife Jennifer (vocalist ... and as of today --- web site developer).
I've been teaching privately part time since the age of 20 but it's been a full-time affair for about the past 18 years. I've probably taught well over a thousand students of all ages over the years, and I'm flattered that most come by way of referral and stay for several or even many years.
More recently, I was asked to teach several non-credit Adult Beginner Piano courses at HACC. I've also been happily recruited to participate as judge in a local elementary school music competition...but I'm still waiting for the phone call to be invited to the American Idol judge's chair.
Note: Don't completely believe my Facebook profile that lists my College 'Concentration' as Entenmann's Chocolate Chip Cookies.
